Our story
Atelier Léman was born from a shared frustration.
In April 2026, when Audemars Piguet and Swatch announced the Royal Pop, the Swiss watch industry split in two. For many of our peers, it was a provocation — a bioceramic pocket watch sold at Swatch stores: a sacrilege for purists, a marketing joke for the others.
We saw it differently.
Adrien Vauthier (28) had spent six years designing cases for a manufacture in the Vallée de Joux. He saw a rare chance: an Audemars Piguet-signed watch a twenty-year-old watchmaker could actually wear.
Léa Bernet (26), trained at one of Geneva's top strap makers, saw in the 8 colorways a graphic explosion Swiss watchmaking hadn't dared since Swatch was born in 1983.
Mathéo Roulin (27), a polisher in an independent Geneva workshop, saw the practical issue: a watch built for the waistcoat pocket, in a world where no one wears three-piece suits anymore.
How do you wear a Royal Pop every day?
The process
On May 16, 2026, the day of the official drop, we started prototyping.
A polymer cage that wraps the case without harming the bioceramic. An FKM rubber strap color-matched to each of the 8 colorways. A quick install with no tool, 100% reversible.
Not a modification. A companion.
Production
First series currently in production. Shipping end of July 2026.
We produce in limited runs for this first batch — every case-strap is individually inspected before it ships. No anonymous industrial line: a human checks, measures, validates, packs.
If you're among the first to pre-order, you'll also receive a hand-signed authenticity card from the team.
Pre-order transparency
We ask CHF 149 (or CHF 179 for Savonnette) before you hold the product. We know that's unusual.
Why: producing the first series requires an upfront commitment with our supplier. Your payment lets us start manufacturing without bridging the cost out of pocket.
